Our drivers are trained and specialized in hauling windows, doors, furniture, and other construction materials. While these freight types are a big part of what we do, our experience extends far beyond them—we’ve hauled just about everything, even pumpkins!

So Where Are We Headed??
The real question is: where aren’t we headed?
As Rands Trucking continues to grow, our mission remains the same—to stay family-oriented while providing exceptional customer service to the partners who trust us with their freight. Along with our headquarters in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, we operate terminals in Chippewa Falls and Medford, Wisconsin, as well as a drop lot in Grinnell, Iowa.
Where Did We Come From?
Back in 1982, self-starter Bill Rands founded Rands Trucking with just TWO trucks. With hard work, determination, and a clear vision, he built a company from the ground up, and we haven’t looked back since.
With the trust and support of his local community and a great team by his side, Bill grew Rands from a small trucking operation into the company it is today. We now proudly move freight throughout all 48 contiguous United States and Canada, with a fleet of more than 150 trucks and a growing team of drivers.
What started with two trucks has grown into a family business that continues to move forward while staying true to the values that started it all.

At Rands Trucking, we believe being a good company means being an active part of the communities we call home. That’s why we proudly support a variety of local events, fairs, and organizations, including the annual Hunt of a Lifetime for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.
We’re also proud to have volunteer firefighters, veterans, and community leaders on our team, including employees who coach and officiate youth sports throughout our communities. Their commitment to service, leadership, and integrity extends beyond the workplace and helps make Rands Trucking stronger.
